KMD Brands has released our second Climate-Related Disclosure (CRD), prepared in accordance with the Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment as a Certified B Corporation (B Corp) to social and environmental responsibility, accountability, and transparency.

As a global outdoor, lifestyle and sports company - and a Certified B Corporation - transparency and accountability remain a foundation of how we operate.

This year’s report outlines updates to our climate risk framework, refreshed scenario analysis informed by recent climate science, and ongoing work to capture the impacts of climate events across our operations and value chain.

Developed with input from across our brands - Kathmandu, Rip Curl and Oboz - and regions, and guided by both internal and external expertise, the statement reflects our current understanding of climate risks and opportunities.

While challenges are ongoing, we continue to improve data, work with our supply chain to advance renewable energy efforts and collaborate across the industry to tackle systemic challenges. These actions are part of our commitment to measurable progress, guided by science and aligned with a sustainable future.

We are encouraged by the progress we’ve made and remain dedicated to supporting our teams, supply chain partners, and industry peers as we navigate the transition to a low-carbon future together.
