Oboz reimagines its origins

Oboz has looked to its past to create something entirely new with Orbit 01 — the first release from its Rewilding series and a celebration of the ideas, creativity and curiosity that have shaped the brand from the beginning.

While exploring the Oboz archives, the team uncovered early design inspiration built around the concept of “Orbit” - drawing on extraterrestrial influences, with crater-like textures, reflective materials and bold visual details that captured a sense of exploration beyond the trail.

Reimagined for today, Orbit 01 pays homage to Oboz’s origins while bringing a fresh perspective to outdoor footwear. The limited-edition release combines Oboz’s proven hiking performance with a distinctive space-inspired design, including a custom visual treatment created in collaboration with Montana-based artist Casey Lutz.

Beneath the bold aesthetic, Orbit 01 delivers the technical capability Oboz is known for, featuring trail-ready traction, durable construction and waterproof protection designed for adventure in varied conditions.

The launch marks the beginning of Oboz Rewilding - a series that takes classic ideas and brings them back into the wild through limited-edition releases that celebrate creativity, community and exploration.
